Our Risk Assessment has been fully updated and is reviewed regularly to help us manage the risks of Covid-19. Our staff are carefully trained on the safe methods of work. We also adhere to the ‘Removals Activities Under Covid-19 Conditions Guidance’, a document that has been put together and endorsed by professional bodies in the housing sector including The British Association of Removers, National Association of Estate Agents/Propertymark and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. We would highly recommend using fogging in addition to hand disinfecting high-frequency touchpoints such as door handles and stair rails. We can quickly, efficiently and safely sanitise all items within large indoor areas before and after each shift, minimising the risks of contamination from COVID-19. We also offer this as a quick and cost-effective stand-alone service.
Each morning the staff answer screening questions relevant to Covid-19 symptoms and check their temperatures before leaving home and send the results into the office where the data is safely recorded’. Once on site the foremen check the temperatures of each member of the crew while carrying out their pre-move safety inspections.
We provide our staff with masks, gloves and safety glasses (along with their other PPE). They each have their own hand sanitiser along with sanitiser wipes for surfaces that they touch whilst working. They change their gloves regularly throughout each shift.
Our staff receive ongoing training to ensure that they know how to keep themselves and our clients safe.
Yes, absolutely. This can be completed with a physical visit to the site, maintaining social distancing. We will also ask you to complete a screening questionnaire. We can also ‘Virtually’ visit the site via video call on almost any platform. This is often quicker, and due to the experience of our surveyors, this doesn’t impact the move. We can also do a contactless move. Please contact us for more information.
We always want every client to receive the very best care throughout the moves process. We have stringent procedures in place to ensure that in the event of any issues these are resolved quickly and efficiently to minimise any disruption to you or your business. Our formal Complaints Procedure is available upon request.

JTS Relocations have all the required insurance policies in place. Copies are available on request. It’s recommended that you purchase the insurance arranged by us on your behalf for loss of or damage to your effects. It’s easy to arrange. All you have to do is to choose the option on the Acceptance of Quotation form, check that you have inserted a correct valuation for your effects, and to pay our charges in full. This document then becomes your confirmation of insurance.
Some companies that carry out commercial moves may only work the standard 9 to 5, Monday to Friday hours. Almost half of the relocations we carry out are either during ‘out of office’ hours and/or over weekends. At JTS Relocations we work around you, to ensure your organisation’s downtime is minimised and your needs, are met.
As you’d expect, the office and commercial moving sector is incredibly diverse with an almost limitless number of move ‘types’. For that reason you might think that a company that excels in office relocations may not have the necessary skills, knowledge or equipment to carry out an IT or factory move, so it’s always worth asking. At JTS Relocations we have carried out almost every type of commercial move imaginable and can likely provide client testimonials for similar moves to yours. If we can’t, it’s likely that our transferable skills will mean we can still successfully carry out your move.
British Association of Removers say ‘There’s no better proof of a commercial mover’s ability to successfully carry out the project you set them. This should be the minimum requirement on any a Commercial Tender document for further participation.’ What’s more we feel that the effort we put into gaining AND maintaining the Standard ensures that we are always looking to improve our already high levels of service and standards.
