Dedicated to setting and maintaining high standards

Along with setting ourselves high standards, we also constantly strive to improve the industry’s efficiency and safety, our dedication and passion to which is evident throughout our entire workforce, from the board right through to our newest staff members. We seek to bring a refreshing approach to all aspects of the commercial removal process. Our aim has always been to blend honest and traditional values, with the latest technology and working practices.

BS8522 – The Commercial Moving Standard

The BS 8522 Quality Standard is specific to Commercial Removals services and was developed by the BAR Commercial Moving Group (CMG) in collaboration with the British Standards Institution (BSI), Facilities Managers, procurement and removal professionals. The standard provides the commercial moving industry with recognised, specific and measurable benchmarks which are also relevant to its activities, unlike more generic quality standards such as ISO 9001.

As a supply chain partner, CMG are addressing the key issues in today’s procurement process. In achieving the BS 8522 quality standard, Members are not only committed to delivering professional relocation services, they demonstrate the highest standards of care for the environment, conformance to diversity and equality principles, a commitment to socio-economic issues, and a proficiency in e-tendering issues.

ISO9001 – Quality Management Systems Standard

The ISO 9001 certificate is one that is suitable for organisations in all industry sectors and is recognised globally.

To achieve ISO 9001 certification JTS Relocations were required to demonstrate that not only can we meet the regulatory requirements but also that we could apply the system effectively to be of real benefit to our customers. The process encompasses the entire organisation and has undoubtedly helped our company to further improve our management processes.

ISO14001 – Environmental Management Systems Standard

ISO 14001 is the most well-known of the ISO Standards and is the only one against which businesses and establishments can achieve certification from a third party. Achieving certification is based upon meeting all three of the components of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standards; minimising how business operations negatively impact the environment, complying with the regulations and laws outlined in the EMS and continual improvement.

Unlike many other quality control standards, it does not have any exact measures. Instead it serves as the framework of control for businesses and establishments to create their own Environmental Management Standards, targets and measures. It focuses on how the standards can be applied in a business or organisation to meet the guidelines and standards

ISO 45001 – Health & Safety Management Systems Standard

ISO 45001 (previously BS OHSAS 18001) is a framework for an occupational health and safety management system. It has helped JTS Relocations put in place the policies, procedures and controls needed for us to achieve the best possible working conditions across the company, identifying any hazards and putting controls in place controls to manage them. It also reduces workplace accidents and illness which will result in less downtime and engage and motivate staff with better, safer working conditions.
