Unusual removals

Many removal companies are simply unable to move unusual items, as they lack the specialist knowledge or don’t have the suitable equipment. At JTS Relocations we can move things that many companies cannot. Our Company Directors combined experience of over 65 years means that we have undertaken a huge variety of different, complicated and unusual relocations, moving everything from a hot tub, telephone boxes to a stone memorial.

For obvious reasons, be they of safety, legality or appropriateness, some of the only items we can’t move are live animals, large sums of money or dead bodies! If you ask us about any other items, we’ll do everything we can to get them moved for you efficiently, safely, and securely. We recognise that not all relocations have the same requirements. One of our experienced and fully qualified Prince2 project managers will come and assess your needs by carrying out a site-visit. This will give our representative a good understanding of your requirements ensuring that all possible eventualities are accounted for and allows us to provide you with a bespoke package and an accurate quotation.

During the pre-move planning stage, we always pay careful attention to Health & Safety and will create a full risk assessment for moving your unusual items. Our staff are well trained in identifying hazards and creating secondary risk assessments prior to beginning any work.
